Independent survival horror studio

We make horror where light runs out and choices don't come back.

TacoEaters is a small independent studio building survival horror with mechanically honest consequences. No decorative gimmicks — if a system is in the game, it can hurt you.

Fear The Timeloop

Sheriff James Cooper is bleeding to death in an unfamiliar hospital — and every time he dies, the loop begins again. Fifteen minutes. Learn, adapt, break the cycle before it breaks you.

A third-person survival horror where the time loop is load-bearing: it drives the story, the progression, and the fear.

A derelict airport. A night that doesn't want to end. Our next survival horror is in development — more when we're ready.

The studio

TacoEaters is a small core team plus trusted freelancers, based in Chișinău, Moldova. We ship focused, systems-driven horror games — small enough to stay strange, disciplined enough to finish.

Our first game, Fear The Timeloop, taught us the lesson that now defines everything we build: a horror mechanic has to be load-bearing. If you can remove it and the game still works, it was never the game.

  • 01Consequences are permanent. We don't design undo buttons.
  • 02Light, fuel, ammo — resources are the horror, not the UI.
  • 03Small scope, finished games. Shipped beats ambitious.
